Today will be windy as clouds break

Happy Thursday! After yesterday’s severe storms, cold weather returns today thanks to a blustery northwest wind.

This morning we could see a lingering shower or flurry. Temperatures this morning will be in the mid 30s. Winds will be from the northwest between fifteen to twenty mph. Gusts could be higher.

This afternoon clouds will begin to break for some sunshine. High temperatures this afternoon will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Winds will continue to be strong from the northwest. Sustained winds between fifteen to twenty mph and gusts could reach up to 40 mph. Due to the northwesterly wind, the air will feel colder.

Tonight we will become mostly clear. Temperatures tonight will be in the upper 20s. Winds tonight will be from the northwest between ten to fifteen mph. Winds will slowly start to diminish overnight.

Have a great day! Stay warm!
