Today will be hot and sunny

Happy 14th of July! One of my favorite days of the year! It is going to be hot and sunny today. The hot pattern will continue into Wednesday. The National Weather Service has issued Heat Advisories from 11 am today until 8 pm Wednesday. Please stay hydrated in this heat, and make sure your furry friends do to. Always remember to wear light colored clothing in the heat, and try to limit time outside during the hottest part of the day.

Temperatures this morning will be in the lower 60s. Winds will be from the southwest between 3-5 mph. We will have a mainly clear sky.

This afternoon there will be plenty of blue sky and sunshine. High temperatures will soar into the lower 90s. Winds will be from the west between five to ten mph. Our record high temperature for this date was 95 back in 1954. We will have to see if we end up breaking it.

Tonight will be mainly clear. Low temperatures will be in the lower 70s. Winds will be from the west between five to ten mph. We will also be having a new moon, so if you like to stargaze, tonight will be a pretty perfect night to find a dark sky and look up! It is rare we get conditions like this!
