A soggy start to the week, drier weather returns Tuesday

Good morning and Happy Sunday! We will have a soggy start to our week, and then drier weather returns on Tuesday. The rest of the week looks slightly cool and slightly unsettled.

For your Sunday, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch until 10 PM for Blair, Huntingdon, Bedford, Somerset, Fulton, Franklin and Cambria Counties. If you come across a road covered in water, turn around and take a different route. We will have multiple rounds of storms and downpours today leading to a few spots that could see localized flash flooding, thanks to a warm front moving through. Temperatures today will be in the 70s.

Temperatures Monday morning will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s. It will be a rather cloudy start to the day. We could even see some patchy fog. Temperatures will be form the west between five to ten mph.

Monday afternoon a cold front will cross Central PA. This will bring with it a shower or two. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s to lower 80s. Winds will be from the northwest between ten to fifteen mph.

Monday night temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50s. Winds will be from the northwest and will be light. We will have a mainly clear sky.

Tuesday high pressure will be with us. It looks like a great day to enjoy outdoors. Winds will be from the northwest between five to ten mph. WE will have a mostly sunny day. High temperatures on Tuesday will reach the upper 70s. Tuesday night temperatures will be in the upper 50s with a mainly clear sky.

Wednesday we will have a partly cloudy sky. There could be a few storms in the afternoon hours. High temperatures on Wednesday will be in the lower 80s. Winds will be from the west between five to ten mph. Wednesday night temperatures will be in the lower 60s. It will be cloudy Wednesday night with showers into early Thursday morning.

Thursday high temperatures will be in the mid 70s. We will have more clouds compared to sunshine. There could be a shower or storm around. Winds will be from the east and will be light. Thursday night temperatures will be in the lower 60s.

Friday high temperatures will be in the mid 70s. Winds will be light from the east. We could see some lingering showers Friday morning and then clouds should break a bit. Friday night temperatures will be in the mid 50s.

Saturday we will have clouds and sunshine. High temperatures on Saturday will be in the mid 70s. Winds will be from the east between 3-5 mph. Saturday afternoon a shower or storm could pop up.

Sunday will be similar. High temperatures on Sunday will be in the upper 70s. There will be a partly cloudy sky. with a chance of a shower or storm. Winds will be from the west between five to ten mph. Sunday night temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50s.

Monday looks to be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the mid 70s.
