Today is the start of astronomical fall! The start of autumn will begin at around 8:04 pm this evening during the autumnal equinox. Remember that meteorological fall started on September 1st, and is based off of climate averages. Astronomical fall is based off where Earth is on its orbit around the Sun.

We’re starting off soggy this morning. A low-pressure system to our south is bringing in some steadier rain for the morning hours. It will slowly be moving east today and into the next few days. It will also be foggy. Temperatures this morning will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Winds will be from the east between five to ten mph.

This afternoon temperatures will only climb into the mid to upper 50s. It will be cloudy and cool with showers around. Winds will be from the east between five to ten mph but wind gusts could reach up to 20 mph.

Tonight, will be cloudy with a few showers. Temperatures tonight will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Most of the nighttime hours will be cloudy. Winds will continue from the east between five to ten mph.
