Milder air for our Thursday with clouds mixing with sun

A weather forecast for October 29 showing warm conditions with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Morning temperatures in the 40s and afternoon temperatures in the 70s, with winds from the southwest at 5-10 MPH.

Happy Thursday! We’ve got a warm day ahead of us!

Temperatures this morning will be in the mid 40s. We will start off with a partly cloudy sky and some patchy fog. Winds will be light from the south.

This afternoon temperatures will soar into the mid 70s. A warm front moved through during the overnight hours last night and this morning, ushering in the milder air. The record high temperature for this date is 77°F in 1971. We have the potential to maybe tie or break that number today. For the afternoon hours we will have a mix of sunshine and clouds. Winds will be from the southwest between five to ten mph.

Altoona City has Trick or Treat tonight as well as some other areas. If you are Trick or Treating, it will be comfortable between 6-8 pm with temperatures mainly in the 60s. A southwesterly breeze and a partially clear sky. It will start to cool off once the sunsets at 6:13 pm.

During the overnight hours we will have some clouds in the sky. A cold front will be crossing Central PA, but it probably won’t bring precipitation with it. If it does, it will be a sprinkle. Temperatures tonight will be in the 50s. Winds will be switching from the southwest to the west.

Have a great and safe day!
