
Good morning and Happy Sunday! I hope you stayed safe with the stormy weather we had yesterday. I believe the National Weather Service will be sending some crews out to survey damage across the area to determine if we did see tornadoes.
Today we will have the clouds breaking for hazy sunshine. We will be dealing with wildfire smoke, but not as bad as the past few days. Be careful today as you drive, there could be tree branches down on your route.
This week will start off quiet and comfortable for us across Central PA.
Temperatures Monday morning will be in the mid 50s. Winds will be light from the northwest. We will have a mainly clear sky. The sky may look milky from the wildfire smoke.
Monday afternoon we will have hazy conditions with plenty of sunshine. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s. Winds will be from the south between 3-5 mph.
Monday night temperatures will drop into the mid 60s. We will have clouds increasing Monday night into Tuesday morning. There could even be a few showers late at night into the early Tuesday morning hours.
Tuesday a low pressure system will be moving across the area. Tuesday we will have high temperatures in the lower to mid 80s. Winds will be from the southwest between ten to fifteen mph. Tuesday we will have scattered storms and downpours. Some storms could contain strong winds, so you will want to stay weather aware. Tuesday night storms tapper off with a variable cloudy sky. Low temperatures will be in the mid 60s.
Wednesday the cold front will cross the area. This means there could be a few lingering showers early Wednesday and then clouds will break for sunshine. High temperatures on Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 70s. It will be a comfortable day and breezy. Winds will be from the west between ten to fifteen mph. Wednesday night will be mainly clear. Low temperatures will be in the mid 50s.
Thursday we will have plenty of sunshine. High pressure will be over the area. Our high temperatures will reach into the upper 70s. Winds will be from the northwest between five to ten mph. Thursday night temperatures will be in the lower 50s.
Friday we will have sunshine with a few passing clouds. In the afternoon hours a stray shower or storm cannot be ruled out. Friday temperatures will reach the lower 80s. Winds will be light from the south. Friday night temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50s.
Saturday there will be a mix of sun and clouds. High temperatures on Saturday will be in the lower 80s. Winds will be light from the southwest. Saturday night temperatures will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Sunday high temperatures will be in the lower 80s. Sunday we will have winds from the west between five to ten mph. Sunday we will have a partly to mostly cloudy sky. A shower cannot be ruled out. Sunday night temperatures will be in the lower 60s.
Monday we will be mostly sunny. High temperatures on Monday will be in the lower 80s.
